Profesor emeritus Marc Gjidara

Professor emeritus at University of Panthéon-Assas (Paris 2), honorary doctorate from University of Split, author of numerous academic works and articles in various areas of public law and political science. He is a member of the Comparative Legislative Society and French Department of Administrative Legal Sciences with the State Council (National Department of the international institute of Administration Science). He founded and led several university studies specialised in security including some in cooperation with the Higher School for Police and Police Officers. He is co-founder and member or head of numerous Croatian-French scientific associations on Croatian Culture at Sorbonne University, representative bodies of Croatian institutions and communities in France and the „Robert Schumanˮ Centre for European Studies and research in Split. He initiated many inter-university Croatian-French partnership contracts signed in 1999, 2006 and 2015. As organizer and initiator on the behalf of the French „Croatian-French Administrative Law Days in Split which have been organized every year since 2007, he has continued to further cooperation between two countries and in various extra-university areas.
